Who operates BlitzDrops and how to reach us.

BlitzDrops is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc., The Pokémon Company or any shop mentioned in our alerts. Pokémon and all related names are trademarks of their respective owners.

Privacy notice

What personal data we process, why, and your rights. This notice follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who is responsible

The operator named in the Impressum is responsible for processing your data. For any privacy question or request, email privacy@blitzdrops.com.

2. What this notice covers

This website, blitzdrops.com, and the BlitzDrops service on Discord: our Discord server and the BlitzDrops bot that posts alerts and answers commands.

3. Visiting this website

Hosting. The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). When you open a page, your browser sends technical data that Cloudflare processes to deliver the page and protect it from attacks: your IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. We do not combine this with other data.

Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a service of Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), to count page views. When a page loads, a small script sends Cloudflare the page visited, the referring page, your browser, operating system and country, and how fast the page loaded. It sets no cookies, doesn't track visitors across sites and doesn't build profiles.

No advertising. We use no advertising, no tracking pixels and no social media plugins, and we set no cookies ourselves. If Cloudflare detects suspicious traffic, it may set a technically necessary security cookie. The fonts are served from our own website, so no font service receives your data.

Legal basis (GDPR). Our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website and in knowing how often it is visited (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Using BlitzDrops on Discord

Discord is operated by Discord Inc. (USA). When you create a Discord account or join a server, Discord's own terms and privacy policy apply, and Discord is responsible for what it processes on its platform.

To run BlitzDrops, we process:

• your Discord user ID, username and display name, and your roles on our server;
• the commands you use, such as /watch and /search, and what you enter in them;
• your personal watches and their filters (keyword, shop, card language, maximum price, in-stock only), so we can send you matching alerts by direct message;
• technical logs of alerts and messages the bot sends, to fix errors and prevent abuse.

Purpose. To deliver alerts, watches and search, to moderate the server and to prevent abuse. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Where. The bot and its database run on a server rented from a hosting provider in France (EU).

Legal basis (GDPR). Providing the service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in moderation and security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Links to shops

Alerts link to the shop's own website. When you click a link, the shop's privacy policy applies. We do not pass your personal data to shops, and you buy directly from them.

6. How long we keep data

• Cloudflare server logs: according to Cloudflare's own retention periods.
• Watches: until you remove them with /unwatch or ask us to delete them at privacy@blitzdrops.com. They are not deleted automatically when you leave the server.
• Bot logs: rotated and deleted automatically after 30 days.
• Database backups: deleted automatically after 14 days, so data you delete can remain in a backup for up to 14 days.
• Emails you send us: as long as needed to answer, then deleted unless the law requires us to keep them.

7. Data transferred abroad

The bot’s server is in France. France is in the EU and offers adequate data protection under Swiss law, so no additional safeguards are needed for it.

Cloudflare and Discord may process data in the USA and other countries. Where a country does not offer adequate data protection, these providers rely on their certification under the Swiss-US and EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the standard contractual clauses recognised by the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) and the European Commission.

8. Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, and have it corrected or deleted. You can object to processing, ask us to restrict it, and receive data you gave us in a common format. The quickest way to delete your watches is /unwatch. Leaving our Discord server stops all alerts to you, but does not delete your watches; remove them first or ask us to.

To use any of these rights, email privacy@blitzdrops.com. We may ask you to confirm that the Discord account is yours.

You can complain to the FDPIC in Switzerland or, if you live in the EU or EEA, to your local data protection authority.

9. Security and automated decisions

We protect the data we hold with appropriate technical and organisational measures. We make no automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.

10. Changes

We update this notice when the service changes, for example before paid plans are introduced. The date at the top shows the latest version.

Terms of use

The rules for using the BlitzDrops website and Discord service.

1. Scope

These terms apply to the website blitzdrops.com and the BlitzDrops service on Discord, provided by the operator named in the Impressum. By joining our Discord server or using the bot, you accept them. Questions about the service or these terms: support@blitzdrops.com.

2. The service

BlitzDrops sends alerts when sealed Pokémon TCG products are listed or come back in stock at the shops we monitor, with the information described on our website. The service is currently free. We may change, pause or end features at any time. If we introduce paid plans, we will announce them in advance with separate terms, and nothing will be charged without your explicit order.

You need a Discord account and must meet Discord's minimum age in your country.

3. We do not sell or buy products for you

BlitzDrops is not a shop and is not a party to any purchase. You buy directly from the shop, and that shop's terms, prices and delivery conditions apply. We never ask for your payment details or shop logins.

4. No guarantee

Stock, prices, release dates and card languages come from the shops and can be wrong or change at any moment. Alerts can be late, incomplete or missed, and we do not monitor every shop. We do not guarantee that a product is available, that an alert arrives in time, or that the service is always available.

5. The price verdict is information, not advice

Where we show a recommended price or say whether a shop is the cheapest, this is information to help you decide. It is not purchase or investment advice, and recommended prices can be missing or out of date.

6. Fair use

• Follow Discord's terms and our server rules.
• Do not resell, republish or automatically forward our alerts to other servers, channels or services without our written permission.
• Do not misuse the bot, for example by flooding it with commands or trying to disrupt it.

We may limit or remove access if these rules are broken.

7. Intellectual property

The BlitzDrops name, website and alert format belong to the operator. Product names, shop names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify products and shops. See the notice in the Impressum.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for damage arising from the use of BlitzDrops, including missed or incorrect alerts, purchases you make, and interruptions of the service. This does not apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or where mandatory law provides otherwise.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with its date at the top. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new version.

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Weite, Switzerland. If you are a consumer, you may also rely on the mandatory rules and courts of your place of residence.
